ABOUT STEVE SHEVORSKI
Steve served as the Head of Complex Litigation and the Chief Litigation Counsel for the Attorney General of the State of Nevada. In addition to his experience leading the complex litigation department for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, Steve has worked as a commercial litigator in private practice for regional and national law firms.
Steve has experience in real estate litigation, labor and employment law with a focus on restrictive covenants, trade secret litigation, and professional responsibility. In addition, he has litigated a wide range of state and federal constitutional issues and statutory issues as well, including cases involving the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Bankruptcy Code, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and more. In recent years, Steve’s work has led to the following published opinions by the Nevada Supreme Court: Nat’l Assoc. of Mut. Ins. Co. v. State of Nevada, its Dep’t of Bus. and Indus., Div. of Ins., 139 Nev. Adv. Op. 3, 524 P.3d 470 (2023); Nev. Gaming Comm’n. v. Wynn, 138 Nev. 164, 507 P.3d 183 (2022); and State of Nevada, its Dep’t of Taxation v. Dist. Ct., 136 Nev. 366, 466 P.3d 1281 (2020).
