Tod Dubow

July 27, 1964 - March 10, 2024

Tod Richard Dubow, born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 27, 1964, passed away on March 10, 2024. Tod graduated from Brookline High in 1982, where he honed his skills in both chess and tennis, two avocations in which Tod excelled throughout his life. Tod was also a talented guitarist and singer-songwriter, TodDubow.com

Following high school, Tod earned a B.A. in English from the University of California and a J.D. from Pepperdine University. He worked as an attorney both in Los Angeles, California, and later, Las Vegas, where he was considered by his colleagues to be "one of the preeminent legal minds in Nevada." Throughout his career, Tod served as a mentor and friend to many younger attorneys, and continued to keep in touch with them throughout their pursuits. Tod was affectionately referred to as “the Unicorn” due to his unique ability to take on the most complex legal cases and handle them with ease.” (Adam Fulton, Esq., Jennings & Fulton, LTD)

 

Tod is survived by his son, Nicolas, his mother, Anita Jamieson, his siblings, John and Eve, his Aunt Jan and Aunt Anne. He was predeceased by his sister Ilene and his beloved step-dad, John Jamieson. He also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews; to name a few: Rob, Joel, Liam, Nolan, Patrick, Ezra, Nora, Iris and Desmond. A memorial will be private as Tod would have preferred. Those who knew him well may choose to take a moment to remember his brilliance and distinctive wit, which at times, was nothing short of genius.
